DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS FAQS
All deposited funds from our traders are held in secure, segregated bank accounts.
We do not allow clients to fund their accounts using another person’s account or credit/debit card. Please make sure that any transactions are made from an account in the same name as your GMT Investments trading account. Third party payments are not accepted.
We charge a 5% withdrawal fee to cover any credit/debit card processing fees.
Sometimes extenuating circumstances can affect deposit or withdrawal times, in this case you will be notified by our Customer Support Team.
Some unavailable currencies might incur currency conversion fees
We work with a number of reputable, top tier payment service providers who are able to accept a huge range of currencies, a list we are continuously expanding. For now please check the “Available Currencies” column under each payment method to see which can be accepted.
If any misuse of the deposit process is detected, such as making a number of deposits without any trading activity at all, then GMT Investments reserves the right to apply any transaction fees incurred by deposits or withdrawals without providing notice. Traders will be notified and informed of this in advance prior to any charges being made to their account.
